See wild babies on Saturday 10-5.
Come and join us for our Wildlife Baby Shower! You'll get the opportunity to watch our staff and volunteers in action, feeding and caring for our orphaned babies in the busy nursery. You can also learn about the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and visit our many displays which include information on how to keep wildlife outside and keep baby animals from becoming orphaned. Purchase delicious goodies at our bake sale, courtesy of our talented volunteers. All proceeds benefit the orphans in our care.
No need to let us know you're coming! Everyone is invited to our shower. Gifts are encouraged! See the specific items the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center needs.
SPA SPASTIC SPA-SHTICK
Today I noticed that the ex-granite shop has a new shingle, QTicle. Is that another spa, or salon, or parlor? I haven’t got the definitions nailed down yet.
Spa spade space, oh, another space available? Take off the C and the E, and it’ll be a spa available! OK, this is my spa-shtick since I seem to live in spa-city while most of the world lives in spar-sity, of food, water, shelter, peace, probably even sparsity of spas, salons, and parlors.
Mascots, hard work and a key returnee all led to Bay's state trip
Baseball players are a superstitious lot. Always have been, always will be.
Like veteran catcher Crash Davis (Kevin Costner) said to young pitcher Nuke LaLoosh (Tim Robbins) in "Bull Durham," an American classic movie: "Don't mess with a streak."
BBB Tips for the Wisconsin State Fair

The Wisconsin State Fair begins next week. Some people go to the State Fair to eat something deep-fried and on a stick, others go to get up close and personal with farm animals (perhaps some that they'd never get a chance to see otherwise), some head straight to the Midway for the rides, while others go to shop. If you're in the latter category, please read on.
