Guests got an up-close look at some of Shorewood's most beautiful gardens as part of the Friends of the Shorewood Department of Public Works Garden Tour on July 31.
The torrential storms that hit the area on July 22 resulted in damage to Shorewood schools and the police and fire department. Portions of Hubbard Park are inaccessible as a reults of debris that flowed into the park during the storm.
Shorewood High School alumni dating back to the 1930s gathered at the school on July 10 for an All-Class Reunion.
A little road construction on Capitol Drive didn't stop a big crowd from showing up at Shorewood's Fourth of July parade on Sunday.
Wings Over Waukesha brought veterans, children, and aviation enthusiasts to Waukesha County Airport last weekend to view the Aluminum Overcast, a restored B-17 bomber. Many veterans showed up to tell their story and show the bomber to younger generations.
The Nicolet High School Class of 2010 took its final bows during commencement June13.
