Marie Laura Miller
Marie Laura Miller (nee Fortunato), a former longtime resident of Shorewood, died May 16, 2009, in Burnsville, Minn., at age 91.
She is survived by her daughter, the Rev. Susan Miller (Rudolf Hokanson); grandchildren, Elizabeth (Frank) Russo and Aaron Hokanson; great-grandchildren, Peter and Augustino Russo; brother, Rocco Fortunato; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Whitefish Bay on May 21. Interment was at Graceland Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Bread for the World, 50 F Street NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20001, or the hunger program of the donor's choice.
Northshore Funeral Services handled the arrangements.
