Anne Catherine Melzer of Seattle, formerly of River Hills, and Kevin Michael Collis of Seattle, formerly of Fox Point, are planning an Oct. 10, 2009, wedding at St. Robert Catholic Church, Shorewood,
Parents of the engaged couple are Daryl and Rita Melzer of Shorewood and James and Linnea Collis of Fox Point.
The bride-to-be earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington Hospitals, Seattle.
The groom earned his nursing degree at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is an oncology nurse specialist at Virginia Mason Hospital, Seattle.
