Frances Doring Connelly and Aaron Christopher White were married Sept. 5, 2009, at the Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee.
Parents of the bride are James and Mary Connelly of Fox Point. Mother of the groom is Kathleen White of Elm Grove.
The Rev. William Patrick Callahan officiated the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the Connelly family home in Fox Point.
The bride wore a cream silk gown and veil created by Peter Langner of Rome. She carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangeas and orchids.
Maid of honor was Madeline Smith Connelly of Los Angeles, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Kathryn Ann Ward of Boston.
Best man was J. Ryan White of New York, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Justin Brennan White of Elm Grove.
The bride, a 2003 graduate of Divine Savior Holy Angeles High School, earned her bachelor's degree in musical theater from Emerson College in Boston in 2007. She is a junior account executive and publicist for The Hartman Group.
The groom, a 2001 graduate of Marquette University High School, earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 2005. He is a corporate operations real estate financial analyst for the Walt Disney Company.
The couple honeymooned in Greece for 10 days. They reside in New York City.
