Emily Lasky of Whitefish Bay graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., with a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing and entrepreneurial management. She also earned membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma national honor society and earned an Anna Tyler Waite Leadership Scholars Certificate.
The following graduates earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in May: from Bayside, Sarah Placek, design arts; from Glendale, Joshua Scott, political science and public administration; from Mequon, Robert Bock and Benjamin Geiger, business administration; and from Whitefish Bay, Timothy Scanlan, business administration and economics.
Adam Haefner of Mequon, a junior at Ripon College, has been accepted into the Sigma Pi Sigma physics honor society.
Laura Schinner of Mequon, a sophomore at Ripon College, has been accepted into Sigma Tau Delta, the honor society for students of the English language and literature.
Athena Naylor and Britta Luteyn of Shorewood and Cam Blegen of Whitefish Bay, students at Lawrence University in Appleton, have been inducted into honor societies, Naylor into Mortar Board and Luteyn and Blegen into Phi Beta Kappa.
Nicole Wescott of Mequon, a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division III All-Central Region third team for the 2011-12 school year. Wescott led UW-Whitewater with an 81.4 average this year. She recorded the best round of 18 by a UW-W player, a 77, in the Whitewater Fall Fling. Wescott finished third in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship in the fall of 2011, earning first team all-conference honors.
David Stockbridge of Mequon made the spring semester dean's list at Michigan Technological University in Houghton.
