BAYSIDE

· A resident reported fraudulent charges to a credit card of over $700 after receiving an e-mail about a purchase of a Samsung Galaxy phone April 12. The purchase, which was canceled, was made by someone in Vietnam and an effort to communicate with him/her was not successful.

1A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving after swerving into oncoming traffic almost hitting a squad car in the 400 block of W. Brown Deer Road at 5 a.m. April 17. When asked, she said she didn't realize she had crossed over into that lane. The woman, who said she was on her way home and had one drink, a vodka, had a BAC of 0.09.

BROWN DEER

2Two males, ages and residences not released, were arrested for theft and obstruction at TJ Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road at 6:15 p.m. March 26. The men grabbed items valued at over $100 and ran from the store but were found a few blocks away hiding in bushes at Channel 6. One suspect had six previous retail theft arrests and charges are pending for habitual criminality.

3A Samsung cell phone valued at $300 was taken from a gym locker while the owner played basketball at YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road before 6:30 p.m. March 29.

4A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of power tools valued at $644 from the 8400 block of N. 62ndStreet at 11:30 a.m. March 30. The man was arrested after a friend pawned some of the tools valued at $240 receiving $45 at Pawn America in West Allis.

5Over $250 belonging to residents was reported taken from a desk drawer at Creative Community Living Services, 8484 N. 66thStreet at 7:30 p.m. March 31. The case is under investigation.

6A male, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft and for violation of his parole for retail theft at TJ Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road at 11:20 a.m. April 7. He and another male ran from the store with Coach shoes valued at $305. The other male got away.

7A female, age and residence not released, was mailed a citation for theft of jeans valued at $456 at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road at 11 a.m. April 8. The woman and an unknown male put the jeans into a cart and fled the store. However, the woman was identified because before the theft she had returned items to the store and had to show her ID.

8Two females, ages and residences not released, were arrested for disorderly conduct outside Pick 'n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road at 5:40 p.m. April 8. The women yelled obscenities at each other because one was having an affair with the other's husband.

9Two women, ages and residences not released, were arrested for theft of children's items valued at $451 at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road at 12:10 p.m. April 9. The women were stopped as they attempted to leave the store.

· A Brown Deer woman, age not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related, after she scratched a male's face, slapped him and squeezed his private parts when he tried to leave the residence at 7 p.m. April 9.

10A purse valued at $50 and contents including a $400 Global cash card was taken when left unattended on a table at Party City, 9190 N. Green Bay Road at 1:50 p.m. April 12.

FOX POINT

· A resident reported that his social security number had been used fraudulently to file federal taxes April 14.

11A male, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking, at Indian Creek Park, 200 W. Spooner Road at 4 p.m. April 18. The male was sitting on a tire swing holding a paper cup which he threw away. The cup held a liquid smelling of alcohol but the male denied, at first, he had been drinking but then admitted drinking wine. He also had a pipe with marijuana residue in his pocket.

GLENDALE

12A 28-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of a gas can, disorderly conduct and a warrant and a 16-year-old Milwaukee girl for carrying a concealed weapon after the woman took the can from the BP Station, 525 W. Silver Spring Driveat 12:10 p.m. April 9. The woman had run out of gas and when told she'd have to buy the gas can, she yelled and screamed obscenities and then ran out of the store with the can but she and the girl were stopped. The girl had an 8-inch kitchen knife in her purse which she said she used for protection.

13A 17-year-old Glendale boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance in the 6000 block of N. Elm Tree Road the afternoon of April 9. The boy was angry with a female friend and he pushed her and yelled profanities. A relative of the girl filmed the boy's actions on his phone and showed the video to police. No injuries were reported.

14A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia after she was found slumped over in her car, her face in a plate of salad, in the 5100 block of N. Port Washington Road at 12:20 p.m. April 10. The woman said she was pregnant and had been at a methadone clinic and became tired so she stopped driving. She also admitted smoking crack "earlier" but now "had nothing left." Police found 3.1 grams of cocaine, .6 grams of marijuana, Suboxone pills and glass pipes in the woman's possession.

15A backpack with clothing valued at $200 was taken from a locked car in the 5100 block of N. Port Washington Road between 7:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. April 10. A window was broken to gain entry.

16A man purchased a $500 Kohl's gift card for $200 which had been advertised on Craigslist, meeting the seller, "Kevin,' in the 7300 block of N. Port Washington Road at 8:45 a.m. April 11. Before he bought the card, he called the store and was told it was a $500 gift card. He later went to Bayshore Kohl's where he was told the card was "flagged" and it could not be used. He tried to reach Kevin but was not successful.

17A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior after a women waved down a squad car reporting a man was masturbating in a car in the 5600 block of N. Milwaukee River Parkway at 2 p.m. April 11. The man was stopped and denied the allegations, saying he was just looking at his tax forms.

18A purse and contents along with a $300 iPad and about $50 cash was taken from a locked car in the 6500 block of N. Milwaukee River Parkway late afternoon April 11. A door was pried open to gain entry.

19Eggs were thrown at a window, causing it to crack, in the 5700 block of N. Bel Aire Avenue about 6:15 p.m. April 13. The resident reported a car without lights driving past the home. Damage was $500.

20A strong-armed robbery was reported after a woman took clothing valued at $100 and then pushed and hit a security officer at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 12:50 p.m. April 14. She drove off in a blue Saturn SUV. She was described as black, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing over 220 pounds.

21Two women filled a store bag with clothing valued at over $350 including yoga pants and a jacket and fled Athleta, 5691 N. Centerpark Way at 2:45 p.m. April 14.

22A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for escort without a license after police set up a "date" on a website used by prostitutes at Days Inn, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 11:10 p.m. April 14.

23A change box was taken during a burglary at TCF Bank, 2100 W. Good Hope Road about midnight April 16. A window was smashed to gain entry. The amount of cash taken was not available.

24A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for escort without a license and possession of 1.2 grams of marijuana, and a 32-year-old Milwaukee man for party to the crime of escort without a license after police set up a "date" on a website used by prostitutes at The Radisson, 7065 N. Port Washington Road at 12:45 a.m. April 16. The woman was nude when she opened the door and just then her phone began to ring. A short time later, the man entered the room and was arrested.

RIVER HILLS

25A 62-year-old Glendale man was arrested for drunken driving and driving the wrong way on a divided highway after an officer saw him going east in the west bound lanes in the 1400 block of W. Good Hope Road at 12:19 a.m. April 16. The man failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.12.

SHOREWOOD

26Fourteen males and females described as teenagers were mailed citations for underage drinking after a noise complaint in the 4400 block of N. Ardmore Avenue at 9:15 p.m. April 11. Police were let into the home where there was a strong odor of burnt marijuana, although no marijuana or drug paraphernalia were found. About 30 teens were in the home and all were given preliminary breath tests and 14 had been drinking. Alcohol found in the home was disposed of.

27Two unlocked cars were entered and rummaged through but nothing taken in the 4200 block of N. Ardmore Avenue overnight April 11 or 12.

28A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for trespassing after residents came home and found him, a stranger, sleeping on their living room couch in the 2000 block of E. Menlo Blvd. at 2 a.m. April 12. The man, who entered the unlocked home, said he thought he was at a friend's house.

29A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, driving while suspended and disorderly conduct after he backed his car into another car and then began a fight with the other driver in the 4000 block of N. Oakland Avenue at 3:10 p.m. April 15. The man, who was loud and profane, failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.

30A Razor scooter, value not available, was taken from outside Lake Bluff Elementary School, 1600 E. Lake Bluff Blvd. before 3:30 p.m. April 13.

31A car was entered but nothing taken in the 4400 block of N. Murray Avenue overnight April 17 or 18.

32A male, age and residence not released, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and theft of that alcohol, a 24 ounce Mexican beer, at Sendik's, 4027 N. Oakland Avenue at 3:10 p.m. April 18. The male attempted to flee but was stopped.

33Items, value not yet available, including jewelry and a TV, and a 2013 Honda Civic, valued at $20,000, were taken from the 4400 block of N. Farwell Avenue between 9 and 10 p.m. April 18. A rear door had been forced open to gain entry. The car was recovered in the 4300 block of N. Maryland Avenue.

34Residents came home to find a stranger there holding some of their possessions in the 1800 block of E. Lake Bluff Blvd. at 9:20 p.m. April 18. The man, described as black, about 5 feet 10 inches, and 260 pounds, fled on foot.

WHITEFISH BAY

35A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after she was found slumped over in the driver's seat with car running in the 4600 block of N. Oakland Avenue at 3:11 a.m. April 13. She said she had been at a pub.

36Theft of about $120 was reported during what is described as a "quick change" incident at Dunkin Donuts, 106 W. Silver Spring Drive about 1 p.m. April 13 and reported April 17. The suspect made a purchase then asked to exchange bills at least three times. He also grabbed money from the register when the employee turned away.

37A resident reported coming home and finding his TV and other personal belongings piled next to a rear patio door which had been forced open in the 5500 block of N. Berkeley Blvd. at 9:08 p.m. April 16. About $50 in change was reported taken.

· A resident reported that his Social Security number had been used to file a fraudulent federal tax return April 16.

38Two cars were entered but nothing taken in the 4600 block of N. Bartlett Avenues and the 4700 block of N. Cramer Street overnight April 17 or 18.

39A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen crossing the center line approaching an oncoming car in the 5200 block of N. Ardmore Avenue at 2:11 a.m. April 19. The man, who denied drinking, had a BAC of 0.14.

· Firefighters responded to 119 calls, 93 emergency medical and 26 fire/rescue, April 7 to 13.

· Firefighters responded to 111 calls, 86 emergency medical and 25 fire/rescue, April 14 to 20.
