1A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after making an illegal turn in the 500 block of West Brown Deer Road about 3 a.m. Sept. 12. His blood-alcohol content was 0.16.
2A 31-year-old man was arrested for obstruction and three warrants after a complaint that he was panhandling in the 500 block of West Brown Deer Road about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 19. He gave a false name, and after his real name was discovered so were the warrants.
3A 26-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and running a red light in the 7800 block of North 60th St. at 3 a.m. Sept. 17.
4A 16-year-old boy reported being the victim of an attempted robbery outside Brown Deer Lanes, 4715 W. Bradley Road, at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 18. He and other boys said they were approached by a group of boys who "jumped" them. One of the attackers knocked down the victim and demanded money. When police arrived, the attackers had left the scene.
5A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, driving after revocation causing damage, speeding and failure to wear her seatbelt in the 8300 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 19. Witnesses reported the woman speeding in excess of 80 mph in a 35 mph zone, driving on the median and hitting four trees and two traffic signs and slamming into a building. She was found sitting near the Spot Free Car Wash bleeding from the head and arm and was assisted by the North Shore Fire Department. She said she had two beers three hours before and the reason she was speeding was another vehicle was chasing her. Damage to the trees was $2,400 and to the signs $200. She was taken to a hospital.
6Subwoofers and two small portable TVs valued at $1,700 were taken from a van in the 9200 block of North Green Bay Road before 11 a.m. Sept. 20. Doors on the van had more than $300 in damage.
7A 32-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the 8200 block of West Ivy Street at 3 p.m. Sept. 20. The man had been giving cigarettes to young boys over a period of time.
8A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and improper display of registration in the 8500 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 22. His BAC was 0.10.
• Two domestic incidents were reported this week.
9A 12-year-old Fox Point boy was arrested for battery to a relative in the 7800 block of North Links Circle that occurred Sept. 16. He was taken to juvenile detention Sept. 17 after the victim further reported the incident saying the boy punched and slapped her at least 30 times, bit her, jumped on her back and pulled her hair.
10A 15-year-old Glendale boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after he sent threatening e-mails to a Fox Point resident in the 8200 block of North Port Washington Road on Sept. 17. The boy used obscenities and vulgar language along with threatening to beat up the victim's little brother.
11A 25-year-old Fox Point woman was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 7400 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 20. The woman said she was unaware of her speed and had come from bars where she had two drinks. Her BAC was 0.12.
12Watches and brand-name colognes valued at $550 were taken from Walgreens, 8615 N. Port Washington, about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 22. The suspect was caught on video unlocking a cabinet, taking the items and walking out of the store. A similar theft occurred at a Milwaukee Walgreens Sept. 21. The suspect is a black male, in his 40s, 6 feet 3 inches tall and about 260 pounds.
13A large magnet sign reading "Buy from A Breeder" valued at $125 and a bumper sticker reading "I love my Cocker Spaniel" valued at $5 were taken from a car in the 7400 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard on Sept. 22.
14A tote bag valued at $400 and a laptop computer and voice recorder valued at more than $1,400 were taken from a car in the 7300 block of North Mohawk Road on Sept. 22 or 23. There was no sign of forced entry.
15A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of $1,000 from his employer TCF Bank, 2100 W. Good Hope Road, on Sept. 16. The man admitted taking the money from the vault on Sept. 15 and told police most of it had been spent to pay bills, buy groceries and clothes and go out to dinner. He said he was sorry and knew he made "a big mistake." He was fired.
16A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 2800 block of West Mill Road about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 16. Police were called to the location, asked the man for his ID and as he reached into his pocket a bag with a green leafy substance came out. It contained 0.6 grams of marijuana.
17A 14-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for possession of alcohol on school grounds at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 8 a.m. Sept. 17. The girl, who was serving a detention, said she had not been drinking and that the alcohol was for another student.
18A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for felony possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, drunken driving, driving while suspended, with two prior convictions, and a warrant in the 800 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17. When stopped, there were four other men in the car. The suspect had more than 25 grams of marijuana in multiple bags. The man said his passengers had put up money to buy the drugs and the drugs belonged to them, not him.
19A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and theft from a car in the 500 block of West North Shore Drive on Sept. 22. He was seen on surveillance video taking a set of golf clubs valued at $500 and a digital media player valued at $200 Sept 21. The man was traced through his car's plate to the 700 block of West Melvina Street. Police got a search warrant and found the stolen items in his car along with other items including a camera, radio and watch.
20A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and a warrant after he punched a hole in a wall and threw things in the lobby of the Baymont Inn, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 7 p.m. Sept. 23. When police arrived, the man was backing out of the parking lot. He got out of his car and yelled at police using profane language. He said he "snapped" because he had little sleep, had been drinking and smoking marijuana regularly. He was a former employee of the hotel.
21A 33-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of 5.8 grams marijuana and a drug pipe after he was seen walking in the road on Port Washington and Green Tree roads at 3 a.m. Sept. 24. The man said he was walking home from work on North 76th Street and Brown Deer Road because he didn't have cab fair. Police offered him a ride to the city limits which he accepted agreeing to a pat down search saying he had nothing to hide. A pipe with residue was found in his pocket and he then admitted a bag of marijuana was in his backpack.
22A riding lawn mower valued at $500 was taken from a garage in the 5300 block of North Bethmaur Lane about 1:30 p.m. Sept. 24. It had been stolen a month before and recovered a block away.
23A 52-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for his second drunken-driving offense after his vehicle was seen weaving in traffic almost hitting the curb many times in the 900 to 1100 blocks of West Good Hope Road. The man, who said he had only one glass of wine, failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.16.
24Four 20-year-old men of Gillett, Wis., Milwaukee and Illinois were arrested for underage drinking at Atwater Beach, 4000 N. Lake Drive, at 3:45 a.m. Sept. 19.
25A 20-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested for underage drinking and criminal damage to property after he broke two fence planks in the 3500 block of North Murray Avenue at 1 a.m. Sept. 20. His BAC was 0.19.
26A 20-year-old Shorewood woman was given two citations for animal cruelty after her apartment manager called police to report a "bad odor" coming from her apartment in the 2100 block of East Capitol Drive at 10 a.m. Sept. 21. Inside were two cats without food and water and living in filthy conditions. The cats were removed.
27A 49-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and fraud after a relative called to report 13 missing checks in the 4100 block of North Lake Drive at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
28A digital media player valued at $300 was taken from an unlocked car in the 4400 block of North Prospect Avenue on Sept. 22 or 23.
29A 56-year-old Mequon man was arrested for drunken driving in the 3800 block of North Oakland Avenue at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 24. The man said he'd been drinking at a yacht club but didn't think he was intoxicated. His BAC was 0.13.
30A 21-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he urinated on a driveway in the 1600 block of East Newton Avenue about 10 p.m. Sept. 24. He told police he thought it was a friend's driveway.
• A resident reported he was the victim of a fraud after selling a wireless phone valued at $620 on eBay to a Nigerian buyer Sept. 16 and reported Sept 23. The buyer created a fake e-mail and PayPal account. The resident was attempting to cancel shipment.
31Police responded to a report of a car horn sounding and when the 27-year-old Whitefish Bay man arrived to fix his horn it was discovered he had two outstanding warrants and was arrested in the 1600 block of East Blackthorne Place about noon Sept. 21.
32Police received numerous calls to report the sound of banging and glass breaking at the Jewish Community Center, 6401 N. Santa Monica Blvd. at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 23. An employee said she had locked her keys in her car so she broke the driver's side window.
33A resident reported a driver's-side door had been spray painted causing an unknown amount of damage in the 5600 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard Sept. 24 or 25.
34A snow blower was taken from an unlocked garage in the 5200 block of North Berkeley Boulevard Sept 26 or 27.
35Two cars were entered in the 800 block of East Birch Avenue on Sept. 26 or 27. The entries were discovered when a red jacket, CDs and various documents were found scattered in the road. Only one item appeared to be stolen: a pair of prescription sunglasses valued at $740.
• A domestic battery was reported this week.
