1A driver reported that a bicycle rider was taking too much of the road in the 500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 7:15 p.m. July 26. The biker was gone before police arrived.
2A mailbox was damaged in the 9300 block of North Regent Road on July 27 or 28. The amount of damage was not available.
3Items valued at over $600 including a GPS unit, sunglasses, $200 and a bottle of whiskey valued at $50 were taken from a car at Holiday Inn Express, 4443 W. Schroeder Drive, on July 13 or 14. There was no sign of forced entry.
4A 50-year-old Brown Deer man was cited for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance during a class in the library of Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 11 a.m. July 13. The man was angry, he said, because his daughter was being harassed at school. The girl had been asked previously to document the incidents so police could investigate and her father admitted she hadn't done that.
5Six to eight lockers were pried open and about $600 was reported taken at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, before 9 p.m. July 14. Damage to the lockers was $180.
6The windshield and two windows of a 2000 BMW were smashed and the hood dented causing over $4,000 damage in the 4400 block of West Dean Road on July 25 or 26. When police asked the owner if he knew anyone who would do that, he said he was a bachelor and "it could be anyone."
7A 39-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon in the 4600 block of West Brown Deer Road at 9 p.m. July 26. The man told police he had a gun in his car found in the back seat. He also admitted drinking three beers and three shots. His BAC was 0.17.
8A 31-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 67 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 4900 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:30 a.m. July 29. The man said he had four beers and was speeding because he was in a hurry to get home to get ready for work. His BAC was 0.09.
9A 22-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for a parole violation in the 4400 block of West Dean Road at 9 a.m. July 29. The man was not home when the parole agent arrived, therefore missing his curfew. When he arrived home a short time later, he was taken into custody.

10Items valued at over $3,000 including a Colt .38 revolver, laptop computer and jewelry were taken from the 6700 block of North Holly Court between 10:30 a.m. and noon July 23. The basement was ransacked and a TV in the living room was disconnected but not taken.
11Silver flatware and a tea and coffee set valued at over $4,000 were reported missing from the 7000 block of North Crossway Road on July 24. The date the items were last seen was not known.
12A 21-year-old Fox Point woman was cited for reckless driving after two people said she almost hit them and then made an obscene gesture as she drove off on Seneca Road at Suburban Court the afternoon of July 26. The driver was found in the 1400 block of East Bywater Lane and denied driving saying it was a friend and she was in the back seat with a dog and the witnesses might have seen her raise her hand to control the dog. She finally admitted to being the driver but still denied making an obscene gesture. "I did not do that," she said, "because, believe me, I know how to flip people off."
13A 31-year-old Louisiana man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance and wouldn't leave Bar Louie, 5750 N. Bayshore Drive, at 12:30 a.m. July 18. He left when police arrived but then took a martial art stance outside the bar. His BAC was 0.20.
14Three Milwaukee females, 17, 19 and 24, were arrested for disorderly conduct after a fight with a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman outside La Quinta Inn and Suites, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, about 7 a.m. July 18. All of them had been at a party at the hotel and the fight started over a man also at the party. The three said the 22-year-old started the fight when she swung a pink pole at them. One woman grabbed the pole and hit the 22-year-old, who was then kicked and punched. The three said they were just trying to protect each other. The 22-year-old admitted the pink pole was hers, that she was a dancer and used it in her performance at the party. The three said she was hired for the party as a "stripper." There were also allegations of sexual activity at the party.
15A digital media player valued at $350 was taken while the owner was helping a customer at a kiosk at Bayshore Town Center, 5600 N. Bayshore Drive, about 5:30 p.m. July 21.
16Two 14-year-old Milwaukee boys were arrested for theft from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, about 3 p.m. July 24. They took clothing and shoes valued at over $300 and left the store but were found walking a few blocks away.
17A $500 generator was taken from a garage in the 600 block of West Rock Place sometime July 24. The garage door was partially open to air out.
18A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and warned for lane deviation in the 1300 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 2:44 a.m. July 25. He admitted to drinking four or five beers and shots of gin. His BAC was 0.26.
19A wallet with credit cards was taken when left on a desk in a second floor office at Advance Health Care, 3003 W. Good Hope Road, the morning of July 26. One of the cards was used to purchase items of over $400 at a Kmart and a Pick 'n Save.
20A 22-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for driving while impaired after he was seen driving erratically in the 5200 block of North Port Washington Road at 11 p.m. July 27. He told police he was distracted because he dropped food in his car and denied drinking and using drugs. He was taken for a blood draw.
21A fishing pole and tackle box valued at over $100 were taken from a locked basement storage unit in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue sometime July 22 to 25 and reported July 26.
22A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and a Schedule II narcotic and being intoxicated behind the wheel of a car in the 2000 block of East Wood Place at 1:45 a.m. July 25. A marijuana cigarette was recovered along with three Vicodin pills.
23A woman tried to return two packages of diapers without a receipt at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., the afternoon of July 26. As the clerk spoke with a supervisor, the woman grabbed five packages of county bus passes valued at $88 and fled the store.
24A 17-year-old Shorewood boy was arrested for theft after taking a wallet and GPS unit from a car in the 1700 block of East Capitol Drive at 1:30 p.m. July 26. The wallet was recovered.
25An unsecured Trek bicycle valued at over $200 was taken from the 3900 block of North Murray Avenue the afternoon of July 26.
26Four hubcaps valued at $100 were taken from a 2001 Toyota Corolla in the 1700 block of East River Park Court on July 26 or 27.
27A bicycle valued at $500 was taken from an underground garage in the 1300 block of East Elmdale Court on July 28 or 29.
28A man was warned after an officer saw him driving with his dog on his lap and the dog looking out the driver's window in the 1300 block of East Capitol Drive at 6 p.m. July 29. The man was warned for his own safety and the safety of the dog if the airbags were deployed.

29A 16-year-old Shorewood boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, curfew violation and loitering/prowling after he trespassed on private property in the 5700 block of North Lake Drive at 11:45 p.m. July 26. He and a 17-year-old Shorewood boy, who was also arrested for loitering/prowling, were riding bicycles.
30A can of real but unarmed grenades found in a basement in the 5000 block of North Lake Drive was turned over to the Milwaukee County Sherriff's Office bomb squad to dispose of July 27.
31A Marion 26-inch bicycle, value not listed, was taken from an apartment garage in the 300 block of East Henry Clay Street on July 27 to early July 28.
32Two 25-year-old Milwaukee women were cited for disorderly conduct after arguing with an employee at CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 4 p.m. July 29. One woman was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
33A 21-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was arrested for providing alcohol to minors after a report of juveniles fighting on Henry Clay Street at Santa Monica Boulevard at 7:30 p.m. July 29. A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct and underage drinking and a 21-year-old Whitefish Bay woman for loitering. A bottle of whiskey was confiscated.
34A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon when he was stopped for speeding after almost hitting a squad car in the 4800 block of North Lake Drive at 3 a.m. July 30. A loaded silver handgun was on the driver's seat floor. His BAC was 0.19.
35A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after crossing the center line in the 4700 block of North Wilson Drive at 6:15 p.m. July 30. He failed field sobriety tests.
36A 20-year-old West Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, in the 4800 block of North Lake Drive at 3:45 a.m. Aug. 1. His BAC was 0.12.
37A 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan valued at $4,500 was taken from the 4800 block of North Anita Avenue on July 30 or 31 and recovered in the 1400 block of North 18th Street the next day.
38A 2001 Jeep Cherokee was taken from the 4600 block of North Bartlett Avenue between 9 and 10:45 p.m. July 31. It was recovered after crashing into a house in the 4000 block of West Keefe Avenue, date not listed.
NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT
• Firefighters responded to 120 calls, 77 emergency medical and 43 fire/rescue, July 26 to Aug. 1.
39A resident reported her carbon monoxide detector was sounding in the 4700 block of North Woodruff Avenue, Whitefish Bay, at 6:20 p.m. July 26. Emergency found 60 PPM upstairs and lower levels on the first floor caused by a cleaning company using a gas pressure washer. The home was ventilated and no were injuries reported.
