Internet and Data Security
Learn the security risks that being on the Internet can expose you to. Discuss how hackers might try to gain access to your computer, and what types of information you might be putting out there that they can read. Find out the risks involved in shopping and banking online. Most of the time this is safe, and we will look at how to try to be sure your banks and shops are protecting you. Finally, we will look at home networks and how to make them more secure including wireless networking. Look at the Start-up Process of the computer and all of the software involved. See how the Hardware and Software interact. Computer Diagnostics and Repair
Build on your knowledge of basic maintenance and general computer operations to discover how to identify the cause of computer problems, and repair them.
