UW-Waukesha Continuing Education Offers Course to Boost Success Personally and Professionally

WAUKESHA: UW-Waukesha Continuing Education is offering a new course that is a fantastic professional development tool for businesses and employees; but also beneficial for individuals and couples, helping all gain insight into their strengths while teaching how to overcome weaknesses.

 

Peoplemap™: Understanding Yourself and Others is offered weekly starting Tuesday, September 27-Oct. 4, 6:00pm-8:00pm, $89 or as a workshop on Saturday, October 15 at 9:00am-2:00pm, $89. All classes are held on the campus of UW-Waukesha, 1500 North University Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188.

 

The Peoplemap™ system is a fun, simple and easy to use program that gives a "map" to create effective relationships, help solve conflict and teaches everyone to work with others in order to reach personal goals.

 

This highly interactive and skills based program is designed to teach participants a simple and efficient way to work effectively with all relationships in their life. In this program each person learns their own and others' Peoplemap™ Personality Type: Leader, People, Free Spirit, and Task. Participants have expressed that this training has provided them with skills that help not only in their professional lives, but all other areas of their lives.

 

Pat Swan, M.S., LMFT, a Leadership Coach, Professional Speaker, and Certified Peoplemap™ Trainer will be teaching this course.

Swan is president of Swan & Associates, LLC, an executive coaching, consulting and training organization. Pat has over twenty years combined experience working with individuals, human systems, and organizational development. Prior to coaching and training, Pat managed her own out-patient mental health clinic, and developed a non-profit corporation in her community. She received professional training in health and wellness at the Center for Mind Body Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed professional coaching and executive coaching programs at the Institute for Life Coach Training. Pat is a member of the International Coach Federation, National Speakers Association, and is a Clinical Member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
