What Would Bob Do? A Look Back, and a Look Forward, by John Nichols

Grassroots Northshore and American Federation of Teachers - Wisconsin will co-sponsor an event from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 22 at Plymouth Church, 2717 E. Hampshire Street, Milwaukee. The event is open to the public.
The program, featuring John Nichols, will look back to the 1890’s and to the transformation of Wisconsin politics and its economy by the turn of the century. Nichols, a nationally known political commentator, expert on Wisconsin’s Progressive Movement, and author of The Uprising, will discuss how Bob LaFollette faced tough odds and won, and the lessons we can learn today.
Refreshments will be served. A food truck will be available for food purchase.
