The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club prepares for its 43rd season, registration begins May 10th
Beginning May 10, the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, one of the largest youth soccer club in the state of Wisconsin, begins its youth recreation league registration period for the 2010/2011 season.
The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, a staple in Milwaukee area youth sports for over four decades, offers boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 18 the opportunity to participate in the sport of soccer. Soccer is a great way to get kids involved in a life long activity that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. As a member of the Kickers, kids will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and have fun!
Kickers teams are formed in communities throughout the greater Milwaukee area allowing kids the opportunity to play with friends from their neighborhood. Kickers coaches are licensed and professionally trained to provide kids with guided and personalized instruction, ensuring every player has a unique and rewarding experience.
The Milwaukee Kickers season is split into an 8-game fall and 8-game spring schedule. The fall schedule begins the weekend after Labor Day and runs through October while the spring schedule begins in mid-April and runs through early June. Practices take place on weeknights and games are typically played on weekends. Each Kickers team establishes its own practice schedule.
While recreation soccer is a great way for kids of all skill levels to experience the sport, many communities served by the Kickers offer tryout based select teams for those kids who are more dedicated to the sport.
